Make sure you're prepared to advocate for yourself—the podcast episode I linked above does a good job helping someone prep for this type of appointment.
Do you think that this might have some implications to countries outside the US for supply in ADHD meds? I mean if you have any insight on that if not ignore my question 😅
Btw. really nice surprise today to see a new post of yours here on Substack, thanks for that! ❤️
My PCP recommended an ADHD specialized psychologist and I did three 2 hour sessions with him for my diagnosis. This was long and tedious but nice because my insurance paid for it.
I found a local ARNP specializing in diagnosis and medication management for adults--she has been absolutely amazing, the diagnostic process was done over a couple appointments via Zoom, and was through without being overwhelming.
It's worth saying, she was at least the fourth medical professional I had gone to over the course of 10+ years, looking for help. It's worth the persistence to find the right provider! And don't settle for something that doesn't feel right.
I was also skeptical of Done. I have my first appointment for an evaluation in July. It’s taken years but I’m hopeful.
Good luck!

Great question - I have no idea! I don’t know much about how the manufacturing and supply of medications might be affected on a global level.
If someone else has some insight, I’m curious as well.
Great to see you back on Substack Jesse 🙌😎❤️. Glad we didn't get Done over this side of the pond.
