Time Management + Late Diagnosis
Plus a starter pack for finding your favorite ADHD creators on Bluesky
Hey friends,
I’m sure this is completely unrelatable, but things have gotten really busy for me as we start to head into the holiday season!
So I’m a bit behind, but there are actually TWO great new episodes of The Distractables, the podcast series I’m doing with Marie Ng (creator of the ADHD-friendly task app Llama Life).
In the first one, we talk with Izzie Chea about time management with ADHD and we take a fun tangent exploring the importance of exploring side quests and scheduling time for doing the things that aren’t on your “I should” list, but rather on your “I wanna” list.
And then we have another episode to follow that with my friend Chris Wang (CEO of Shimmer, an ADHD coaching platform) talking about late-diagnosis of ADHD. We also discuss the unique Asian + ADHD experience and the importance of structure (even though we often despise structure!). This conversation was super fun, you won’t want to miss it.
Discovering the online ADHD community is one of the best things to happen after finding out I had ADHD. There’s something incredible about knowing you aren’t alone with all the weird things that encompass having ADHD!
In recent weeks, a lot of that community has been moving over to check out Bluesky which happens to be one of my favorite social media platforms. It feels a lot like “old Twitter” in the best way, and I’m excited to see people moving there.
If you’re checking it out too, follow me at @adhdjesse.com.

If you are just getting started with Bluesky, I created an ADHD Creators starter pack to help you easily find and follow your favorite ADHD content creator accounts.

It’s a great way to quickly get connected in a new place.
Hope to see you there!

Woohoo! Bluesky!! The migration continues!!
Thanks for this list… seriously.
Not just because I appreciate the connections re: managing my ADHD, but also because my time spent here in BlueSky so far has been dominated by discourse about one particular person, and my brain sure needs a vacation from thinking about that topic. My BlueSky experience desperately needs more diversity right now.
